National Security Agency Homepage Redesign

Background

The information and security produced by the National Security Agency (NSA) strengthens national defense and securing of national security systems by leveraging technology and cybersecurity expertise. Project Duration: 4 weeks

The Problem

While the NSA’s website utilizes a simple navigation, user testing revealed several issues and broken links on the site. The main navigation could be expanded to improve ease of navigation. Some pages could also be combined to prevent users from missing information. Additionally, many headings and links are not accurately titled, leading to confusion from users. 

The Solution

The NSA’s website should emphasize it’s role in national defense and security, and it’s role in protecting the American people. The Agency’s website should be reflective of a high-tech government website, incorporating transparency and ease of use for any reader.
